Corcullen is a predominantly residential and rural locality on the western side of Galway city, County Galway, close to the N59 Galway–Clifden road and the villages of Moycullen and Barna. It lies within easy reach of Galway city while retaining a countryside setting, with homes and small settlements spread across the surrounding landscape. Area character
Semi-rural, family-oriented and commuter-friendly, with a mix of established homes, newer housing and agricultural land. Corcullen is quieter and more spacious than the city suburbs, but local services are generally concentrated in nearby Moycullen, Knocknacarra, Barna and Galway city.
