Tonaphubble is a suburban locality on the southern side of Sligo town, within easy reach of the town centre and the wider Ballinode, Calry and Carraroe areas. It is situated in County Sligo’s F91 routing area, with convenient access to local services, education, employment and the region’s scenic countryside. The area is also close to the southern approaches to Sligo and routes serving settlements across the county.
Area character
A mainly residential, suburban area with a mix of established housing, newer residential development and open countryside nearby. Tonaphubble offers a quieter setting than central Sligo while remaining well connected to the town’s shops, schools, workplaces and amenities; the surrounding landscape has strong views towards the hills and upland areas around Sligo.
