Kanturk is a market town in north-west County Cork, situated where the Allow and Dalua rivers meet. It serves a wide rural hinterland, with connections towards Mallow, Newmarket, Millstreet and the Kerry border. The town is within the P51 Eircode routing area and is close to communities including Banteer, Boherbue, Castlemagner, Freemount, Rathcoole and Kilbrin.
