The house is well equipped with everything you will need for a comfortable stay in stylish surroundings. It is a perfect location for golfers, families, and groups of friends. There is something uniquely beautiful about the landscape up here at the top of Ireland. The Inishowen Peninsula has miles of stunning beaches to visit. You can spend hours walking them and climbing the nearby hillsides. The drive around the local Wild Atlantic Way is also breathtaking with something new to see around every corner. The house is a 2-minute drive down to Lisfannon Beach if you don't fancy the walk back uphill. You can walk down in about 10 mins but it takes longer on the way back up as it's steep. It's only a 3-minute drive to the Marina in Fahan and the lovely Railway Tavern restaurant. It's also only a 3 min drive to the award-winning wedding venue and country house restaurant, The Red Door. The town of Buncrana is only 5 minutes away with many shops, bars, cafes and restaurants. In the summer a car ferry also runs from Buncrana across the Lough to Rathmullan. A favorite cafe is Tank & Skinny's on the beach. You are also only 15 minutes from Derry and the multitude of things to do there, or 25 mins from Letterkenny. From Letterkenny, it's a short drive to Mount Errigal, Glenveagh National Park and the Gaeltacht area. Donegal was named no 1 hidden gem by National Geographic in 2017.
