We love the gnarled wood and iron motif that sings of agriculture in the 19th century. The farmhouse-style kitchen is a colourful spot thanks to green-washed cupboards and peach tiles, and the dining room is a great spot for the group to gather at the end of the day. The traditional feel continues in bedrooms where windows look out over the countryside and iron-framed beds await for sound sleep in the peace and quiet. Home truths: *There is no Wifi and virtually no data signal in the area, so this place is for escaping rather than working remotely *All of the bedrooms are upstairs so this place may not be suitable for those with limited mobility *There is room for three additional guests on single beds shared with three of the bedrooms with double beds – these need to be requested in advance *In a remote location, having a car is recommended and there is private parking *As this home only has two full bathrooms (one of which is ensuite), we'd recommend not filling it to capacity *Your host can provide a cot for infants, just ask *You'll have your own private entrance here .
